Bridget Minamore is a writer, poet and journalist from south-east London. She has been commissioned by the Royal Opera House and Historic England, performed at the Roundhouse and the Southbank Centre, and regularly teaches drama and poetry workshops. With Point Blank Poets, Bridget has performed in both Rome and Vancouver, and was shortlisted to be London’s first Young Poet Laureate. In 2016 her first pamphlet of poetry Titanic came out on Out-Spoken Press, and she has been a part of the Brainchild Festival team since the very beginning, back in 2012. After a few years of forgetting to put herself down to perform, this summer Bridget is making her return to the Brainchild stage – and couldn’t be happier.
